Introduction
What is Nana?

Two different girls yet with the same name - Nana. Both with different backgrounds have their paths crossed one day. They thought it would be a one day thing, however things got more complicating when fate brought them together again as room mates. The story unravels into their intertwining lives, as both go through ups and downs just to maintain their very special friendship.

Komatsu Nana is a plain simple girl. Her idea life is to have a happy family with the man she loves. Oosaki Nana is a j-rocker. Music is her life. She even gave up her love for it. Two different personalities brought them closer, making their life interwine with each other. Oosaki Nana gets a taste of family life with the help of Komatsu Nana. And Komatsu Nana gets a taste of the music industry, fame and excitement with Oosaki's help.

A manga that mixes both friendship, family and love. Where else can you get a healthy balance of all three?

Nana runs in Cookie and currently have 12 beautifully drawn tankoubon, one fanbook and one artbook. Nana is obviously a shoujo manga that focuses life of an ordinary Japanese girl who has a dream like every other girl. But shoujo doesn't mean boring or your cliche girl-love-guy books. Nana is different as it dabs in a touch of j-rock and definately have a rather high bishounen factor in it. ^^;;

Ai Yazawa
Who is She?

Ai Yazawa Sensei is a japanese mangaka who is more widely heard in Japan, Europe (Italy?). Her more popular works would be Gokinjo Monogatari and Parakiss, which is a sort-of sequel to Gokinojo Monogatari. Her other works include Kagen no Tsuki, Tenshi Nanka Ja Nai, Usubeni no Arashi, Marin Blue, Ballademade Sobani ite, Escape, Kaze ni Nare, Rabureta and 15 Nenme. Currently Nana is running in Cookie.

Ai Yazawa sensei is a very different mangaka. Her stories deal with things that is very real in our world - Music, Sex, and life.

She is also very modest with herself. Always saying that her drawing skills isn't that good. (Well, that's rubbish right? ^^ We all adore her drawing skills)
