Nana Coming Live

Something exciting that is coming in the year 2005 for all Nana and Ai Yazawa fans -- Nana the Movie! With its great cast, setup and costumes (ultimate cosplay!), director Oonani Kentarou brings the manga series Nana alive, making everything as real and as exact as possible.

The movie starts when the two girls meet on the train on their way to Tokyo and slowly finds their lives interwined in friendship so deep and so special, that it was a bond that was too difficult to break apart.

The cast is amazing in the sense of appearance, aura and dressing. They are so almost alike of the actual characters that many fans of Nana are anticipating the outcome of the movie.

	Mika Nakashima as Oosaki Nana Mika is an amazing singer with strong vocals and pretty looks. She even cut off her long locks for this movie. (She still looks pretty!) Her strong voice would be able to pull Nana, however, her genre of songs are very un-Nana-like. I'm eager to listen to her singing "Nana-songs". The only thing I noticed so far is that she doesn't smile like Nana. Perhaps it would be easier for her to pull the role that way.
	Aoi Miyazaki as Komatsu Nana Aoi is perfect being Hachiko. Her cute and bouncy looks makes her the perfect Hachi. She has a very sweet smile that simply melts everyone's heart. Yet she looks normal enough to be your ordinary-girl-next-door.
	Ryuhei Matsuda as Honjo Ren
	Hiroki Narimiya as Terashima Nobuo You may recognise him as Tomoki from another Ai Yazawa movie - Kagen no Tsuki (Last Quarter). He is quite perfect for Nobu's role, except for not having spikey hair. :D
	Tomoki Maruyama as Takagi Yasushi This poor guy actually shaved his hair off for the role of Yasu! I think the reason why they picked him is because he modelled for quite a number of suits. *lol* His favourite character in Nana is Yasu. *lol*
	Ken-ichi Matsuyama as Okazaki Shinichi He is actually the second Shin-chan to be casted.The only thing that worries me is his hair. :|

	Tetsuji Tamayama as Ichinose Takumi
	Yuuta Hiraoka as Endo Shoji If you have watched Swing Girls, you would find him familiar. He looks quite different from the role he played in Swing Girls.
	Saeko as Kawamura Sachiko
	Anna Nose as Saotome Junko I've just seen photos of her as Junko and she is perfect! :D I love the shot when she and Kyosuke stood together!

NANA Infamous Red Dress

Nana's famous red dress is the dress that stole Ren's heart away. This frilly bright red dress can be bought from Sexy Dynamite London in Japan. It cost about ¥52, 290. The dress comes in black as well.

In May'05 Kera, they had a doll special and they made a Blythe to dress up Nana-style~ They then had a model to dress exactly as the Blythe. XD
