Oosaki Nana + Komatsu Nana

This relationship is purely based on friendship and sister-ship. No yuri intentions at all. Both Oosaki Nana and Komatsu Nana met in a train heading to Tokyo, both with different intentions of heading there. Oosaki's intention was to make it big in Tokyo while Komatsu's was to be with her current boyfriend, Shoji. They clicked and had a wonderful time on the train. However they split when Komatsu saw her boyfriend at Tokyo station. But the separation was shortlived when they met again while searching for an apartment. They met up and decided to rent the apartment together to save some cash. And thus, began the wonderful friendship.

The personalities of Oosaki and Komatsu can be said as totally opposite. Oosaki is serious and punkish, very down-to-earth while Komatsu can be said to be a klutz and very girlie type, always in dreamland. This because of the different surrounddings they were brought up in. Like magnets, where opposite attracts, both of them became dependent on each other for support and comfort. They became the best of friends of the weirdest combination.

However in tank 7 we see the possessiveness of Oosaki. She claims that she treats Komatsu as her little puppy. But I would prefer to think otherwise.

Komatsu Nana + Saotome Junko

Nana and Junko have known each other since high school. They were the best of friends I must add. Junko is bigger sister in this relationship while Nana is the dependent younger sibling. Nana tends to follow Junko and never had a mind of her own.

However, she realised that their friendship was threatened when Junko ended up with Kyosuke, especially when both of them intend to end to Tokyo to further their studies in the Arts. Nana didn't want to lose out and went along with them. But she realised she reached the limit of "being together with Junko" when she failed to enter the college of the Arts. She realised she had to let go of Junko. They might have drfited a bit, but in each of their hearts, each of them have a special place as a "sister" for each other.

Komatsu Nana + Endo Shoji

They first met in an Art School in their hometown. Since then Shoji had a thing for Nana. Nana, being a klutz and a very dense one, never sense the liking Shoji had for her, especially at a time where she really wanted to make friends with the other gender. However, she realised her love for Shoji in a hotel in Tokyo, after both of them failed the entrance exam for an Arts Collage.

But this fairytale was shortlived. Perhaps due to Nana's new life in Tokyo which excited her a bit, especially with a new roommate like Oosaki Nana and her work, she neglected Shoji's feelings. With a new girl at work for Shoji, Shoji began to stray away from Nana and had an affair with Sachiko. In the end it was Nana who gave up on them.

Saotome Junko + Takakura Kyosuke
This is one of the longest lasting love-relationship. Both Junko and Kyosuke met at the Art School in their hometown. It was when they had a gathering at Junko's place with Shoji and Komatsu Nana that they realised they had feelings for each other. It was since then, they stayed together. It was rather implusive in my opinion, however it is amazing how long they have lasted. They even have an apartment together in Tokyo. They never kept secrets with each other and of course, discuss practically about everything.

Endo Shoji + Kawamura Sachiko
Shoji and Sachiko met in the restaurant where they work part-time. It was later they realised they went to the same Art College as well. Sachiko always had feelings for Shoji, but when she found out he has a girlfriend, she decided to back out. Shoji, feeling neglected by Komatsu Nana, began to develop feelings for Sachiko and decided to give both them a chance. Thus they began to have an affair behind Komatsu Nana's back. However Nana soon found out, and decided to back-out of the love triangle.

Oosaki Nana + Honjo Ren

This is one of the most exciting love-relationship in Nana. It was known that Ren and Nana were an item in the past in their own hometown. However, they decided to break up when Ren agreed to be Trapnest's Guitar Player. Nana didn't want to be some simple little wife to Ren and wait upon her future husband, thus she did not agree to go with Ren to Tokyo when he asked her. She wanted to make it big in Tokyo as well, by herself. Thus the split.

However, going to Tokyo brought back memories for Nana, especially when Trapnest was such a big hit in Tokyo. But thanks to Oosaki Nana who brought her to Trapnest's Trigger Concert, she had met up with Ren. Okay, not really met, but see Ren. Ren was estatic of course, but not knowing what to do. Hence he called Yasu, who told him to called Nana (Oosaki) after the concert. Meanwhile, he agitated Oosaki Nana to called Ren up instead (as he knew Ren will never call her). Thus they both met up and of course, patched up. They realised they couldn't live without each other's embrace and life without each other was torture.

They finally tied the knot!!

Takagi Yasushi + Honjo Ren
Best friends since the beginning of the series. Probably since high school onwards. Ironically, Yasu is the down-to-earth stable-earning-income lawyer while Ren is the music-is-my-life guitar/bass player. They both set up Blast together and have a very strong relationship. When Yasu came to Tokyo, he must have told Ren about it, as it was hinted in the manga, Ren often look for Yasu when he is depressed, or bothered, or for just plain boredom. Another time would be when Yasu was the first person Ren called when he saw Oosaki Nana in the audience of the Trapnest's Trigger Concert.

Takigi Yasushi + Oosaki Nana
The friendship between Yasu and Nana grew when Ren left Blast. Yasu was like an elder brother or guardian to Nana and Nobuo, especially in Tokyo. However, it was hinted that Yasu might have feelings for Nana (even Komatsu Nana thought they were together!), though he knows that it is rather impossible for them, especially when Nana and Ren are so closely knitted and are his best friends.

However there is a special bonding between these two. Nana is dependent on Yasu and Yasu never seem to be able to let go of Nana.

Terashima Nobuo + Oosaki Nana
Nobuo and Nana are good friends since high school. It was Nobuo who took the initiative to befriend the punkish girl in school. Even when Nana dropped out of high school halfway after her grandma's death, he still stood by her and became her loyal friend. It was him who introduced Nana to Ren and brought her into Blast as well. When Nana left her hometown to Tokyo, Nobu came along, without telling her. Nana scolded him for abandoning his family business and school life after high school, however it was HIS music that made her change her mind and decided, maybe it wasn't so bad afterall.

Terashima Nobu + Komatsu Nana
Another hinted relationship by Ai Yazawa sensei. Nobuo is like your average punk musician and Nana is your sweet little girl. This hint was noted when Nana was checking out on Nobuo and realised he might be a potential boyfriend. I can forsee more development within the upcoming tanks.

Nobuo and Komatsu were an item. XD In fact I believe this was Nana's happiest relationship ever. Nana finally realised she loved Nobuo, and never want to hurt Nobuo again. However during this time she was having a mini sex-only-affair with Takumi. However Nobuo told her he was willing to wait for her, after she breaks up with Takumi. She did it in the end, break up with Takumi (sort of) and got together with Nobu. However, Takumi didn't know it was a break up.

However things got complicated and Nana realised, her fairytale was shortlived.

Okazaki Shinichi + Komatsu Nana + Oosaki Nana
Shinichi might be young, but he is charming. This is what attracted Komatsu Nana to him. Oosaki was more of suspicious of his life and age. However as time progressed, the two Nanas became elder sisters to a rebellious kid brother.

Takagi Yasushi + Serizawa Reira
This is a past relationship. Yasu and Reira went to the same high school and fell in love. They had a relationship of about one and a half years. However they broke up because they see rather different piorities in life. Reira wanted music to be her ricebowl, but Yasu found it unrealistic and chose law instead. But over the years, I believe that Yasu still has feelings for Reira.

Ichinose Takumi + Serizawa Reira
Takumi and Reira were high school classmates. During that time, Reira liked Takumi.Takumi, on the otherhand was a flirt. However he never touched Reira becaues she was their band's vocalist. Now, Takumi and Reira are still the very best of friends. Though the feelings for Takumi in Reira might still exist. We wouldn't know that now. Reira still likes Takumi. We can see that in the way she reacted when she heard about Takumi's marriage. But Takumi only treats her as a sister.

Ichinose Takumi + Komatsu Nana
Takumi, being a flirt, began his attack on Nana. Nana fell for it and knew the consequences, but still stayed in the little affair. In the beginning Takumi was only playing with her. However, after he realised that Nobuo was attracted to Nana and knew that his "play toy" might be taken away, he began to feel possessive over Nana.

However, Nobu won in the end, with Nana breaking up with Takumi over the phone. The only flaw is that, Takumi did not know it was a breakup. He thought she was just angry with him.

Ichinose Takumi + Terashima Nobuo
No. Not Yaoi. More of enemies. Both men like the same girl - Komatsu Nana. Nobuo used to admire and respect Takumi for having such an achievement and skill in bass at his age. However when he found out that Takumi was just playing with Nana, he was disgusted with Takumi's behaviour and that broke the friendship between them.

Okazaki Shinichi + Serizawa Reira
Shinichi made an offer to Reira (¥10 000?!) and surprisingly Reira accepted it and paid Shin-chan that amount. After that, it was pure business. However, deep inside, we can see that Shin-chan was falling in love with Reira, and Reira needed constant companionship of Shin-chan.

Oosaki Nana + Trapnest
Oosaki Nana's most "hated" enemy would be Reira from Trapnest. She doesn't like Trapnest because she believes that Trapnest is taking everything she loves away. From music, to Ren and to Hacchi. She is jealous of Reira's vocal power and aims to overtake Reira.

Nobuo + Hachi + Takumi
Their relationship is the most complicating of all. Firstly Hachi was with Takumi and when Hachi broke off with Takumi, Takumi doesn't know. Hachi ends up with Nobu and has a lovely relationship. But things got more complicated.

Hachi was pregnant.

She was certain that the child was Takumi's for he refused to wear a condom whenever they are romping under the covers. (That's why always be protected or better still stay away from pre-marital sex) And Nobu is very particular about protection because he can't afford a family now.

Nobuo was depressed. Hachi was confused and Takumi stopped acting his bastard self and becoming a much gentler person, moreover he agreed to father the child, no matter whose kid it was. Nobuo left Nana. Nana, not knowing what to do, decided to take Takumi's offer. Takumi not only willing to look after the child, he was even willing to marry Nana. But deep inside, we know she still loves Nobuo. She is willing to marry Takumi, so that Nobou will give up on her and find a much better person.

Nobuo + Miu

Miu lives in the same dorm as Blast and somehow Nobuo seem to have taken an interest in Miu. Miu is different from the the usual girls he knew. She was independent and straight-forward. She knew she wasn't mentally stable yet she accepted it. Something about her attracts Nobuo but I believe till now Nobu doesn't know what is it.

Miu seems to have taken a liking to Nobu or at least an interest. She seems disappointed the way Nobu reacts to things.

Nobuo + Yuri

Yuri is a popular AV actresses among the many men. In fact, she is so popular that even Ren and Takumi wanted to get into bed with her.

However, she has her eyes on Nobu (and Naoki). She is a ditzy girl who only notices Nobu when the whole Blast arrives. (Shin-chan seems to take this an insult *lol*)

Nobu and her had sex in the "castle" where both Shin-chan and Reira celebrated their birthdays and was willing to make Yuri his girlfriend. But after that, he somehow felt it was not right, leaving her angry and hitting on Naoki.

Yasu + Miu

Yasu notices that Miu is different and somehow, treats her a bit like how he treats Nana. (Except I think Nana is more of a sister.) Miu was the only one who was able to notice the hardwork and effort that Yasu had put in to ensure that Blast would succeed. Yasu seems to be distracted by her actions as well.

I hope Yazawa-sense would develop on this two. ^^

Takumi + Trapnest

Takumi is the father of Trapnest. Music and Trapnest is the most important thing in his life now and he would do anything to ensure that his band would continue to shine, even if it means breaking up Shinichi and Reira.

He does most of the backstage work and adminstrative work. I find this particularly amusing especially when you get to know Takumi's character in his highschool days.

Yasu + Blast

He plays the same role as Takumi in Trapnest, however not because he wants to really make Blast a success. Well he does, but I believed he is doing all these because Nana was the one who wanted Blast to shine. He was willing to so because Nana wanted it. To him, Nana held a special place, more of a dependent sister than a lover.
